Mets players are in complete support of manager Willie Randolph’s decision to send reliever Duaner Sanchez home as punishment for repeatedly reporting to practice late.
Second baseman Jose Valentin said Randolph did the right thing and that Sanchez let the team down. Here’s what he had to say:
