May 11 is Banner Day!

As first reported here, [1] Banner Day had become Banner Night. No longer.
As I have said before: the Mets making a wrong choice, dealing with a week of bad publicity, then correcting is a silly way to let things unfold, but indisputably a step forward from failing to correct at all.
Accordingly, kudos!

Good to see them allow children to participate in a promotion geared toward children. Can’t wait to tell my daughter the good news.
