According to Ken Rosenthal, the deal between the Mets and Blue Jays that would send Josh Thole and others to Toronto for catching prospect Travis d’Arnaud, pitching prospect Noah Syndergaard and others has been agreed to by both sides.
Since Thole is primarily a knuckleball catcher, the Mets have included R.A. Dickey in the deal as well. The Blue Jays have until 2 p.m. Tuesday to agree to a contract extension with Dickey. The deal is contingent upon it.
Have we seen Josh Thole’s final at-bat as a Met? It sure looks that way.

The way you word this is so terrible, “since thole is primarily a knuckle ball catcher, the mets will include r.a dickey also”.. what? You act like dickey is a small piece in this deal. The reigning cy young champ is the biggest part in this deal, and thole is garbage. ..............................................................................................................................................
“Mets have incuded R.A. Dickey in the deal as well…” LOL! Too bad some have no sense of humor.
nice: But alas, remember the days when the metropolis had two big league big market clubs and a deal was held up pending the Mets signing the key guy? When are the Mets moving to Buffalo? Oh wait they can’t. Buffalo kicked the little Mets out already.
I sure do, Chiti.
