Good grief. There IS a team more lethargic and more embarrassing than the Mets. Difference is, everyone there will be fired shortly. We can expect the return of the usual suspects.

Collins has lost his credibility. One day, he calls out the team, next day he apologizes for it. He tries to walk the tightrope, but as many have done before him, ain’t gonna work. He’s not the responsible party, but he should be held responsible. When the ship hits the reef, the Navy isn’t taking the heat, the crew isn’t taking the hit, the Captain is. Sure, it’s scapegoating, but it’s also reality.
