Incredible that NL pitchers have not figured out Hairston after all these years. They keep pitching to his strength in long ball situations. Goes to show how expansion has watered down mound talent. That said, he’s not in the Mets future and is still here because they have no true right handed power on the field or on the bench. He could be right now a valuable sub and pinch-hitter to an AL team and must be dealt for futures.
