Two games of ill wind
Blown away by bat barrage
Murphy goes yard twice
Wow, this guy Dale Sveum has to qualify as the undisputed pits of the managerial circus. Theo Epstein better make a quick change or his shaky reputation, too, will quickly become toast. Sveum, himself a lifetime .230 hitter, actually PRAISES his lethargic team filled with lazy and disinterested goofballs. When the Chicago Press questioned Soriano’s (the Cubs supposed “leader,”) continuous lazy play, Sveum actually said he didn’t see a problem and that when he, himself, was a player, he often didn’t run out balls either. Wow and double Wow!
A recent Quinnipiac poll revealed that most of the active roster of the Cubs declared that baseball was their favorite sport. Vote was 13-12 with the manager and coaches abstaining.
