Don’t get me wrong – I like the Manager – but, he gets accolades for the simple logic of pinch hitting for Thole against Rivera with a right-handed contact hitter, yet didn’t pinch run for slug-footed Duda which would have made the next inning moot.

And, almost forgot – last week, Dillon Gee, instead of either being hit for or bunting, is told to hit away and with Met pitchers having one hit in 80 at bats, hits into a double play! Supwiddat?
