Carrasco Up; Thayer Optioned

Dale Thayer, who you might know from such roles as Wednesday night’s losing pitcher, has been optioned to Buffalo.

D.J. Carrasco, the righty who’s been starting for Buffalo, gets the call. He’s an effective swingman who should provide bullpen depth.
