Talk about George Steinbrenner

Former Yankees owner George Steinbrenner has always been a polarizing figure for both Yankees fans and non-Yankees fans alike. He brought championship after championship to New York City but was routinely lambasted for having the highest payroll in the majors.
What are your thoughts about his legacy? We know he was good for the Yankees and New York, but was he good for the sport of baseball? Now that he is gone, do you think it will be more of the same with his son Hank at the helm?
