There will be one more player vying for the fifth outfielder position on the Mets roster during Spring Training.
The Mets picked up utility outfielder Jason Pridie today from the Minnesota Twins, who had placed him on waivers.
Pridie appeared in just 11 games over two seasons with his former team. He had one walk, one strikeout and three runs in four at-bats. It’s not exactly a large sample size, but he did hit nine home runs and had 25 stolen bases in 121 games with Triple-A Rochester last season.

Hi there, – stumbled on this internet page due to pure luck while wandering across the internet this morning, and delighted that i did! I like the layout and tones, but I ought to point out that I’m having difficulties when it loads. I’m using Netscape 7 internet browser for mac, and the top panel will not align properly. i’m confident I have applied a similar design on a client’s website, but the menu seems fine on mine. I imagine the problem is with my browser & perhaps it’s about time to switch!
