Apparently pitching four scoreless innings in relief of Oliver Perez doesn’t get you a stay of execution if you’re a Met. Pat Misch did just that but was sent down to Triple-A Buffalo. It’s likely we’ll see Misch again when the roster expands to 40 players.
Ken Takahashi was brought up, no doubt, to provide another left-handed reliever for the finale of the Phillies series. The 40-year-old rookie was 1-3, with a 2.38 ERA in the minors.
