Phillies swept by Blue Jays

June
18

The Phillies continue their losing streak at home, getting swept by the Blue Jays. They lost 8-7 after Ryan Madson allowed a home run in the top of the ninth inning. I bet the Phillies can’t wait to get Brad Lidge back from the DL. Madson’s been brutal.

The Mets can now pull within two games tonight if they can manage to beat the Orioles. If Livan Hernandez can keep up his good pitching, the Mets have a chance. It’s time for them to capitalize.
