Well, it looks like Sheffield is playing this game after all. He’s the designated hitter for tonight’s game. With Yankees righty Chamberlain pitching, the Mets will throw a bevy of lefthanders and switch hitters at him with Cora, Martinez, Beltran, Church, Murphy, Schneider and Castillo.
The Mets did well the last time they played with a designated hitter, taking two out of three from the Red Sox. Let’s see if they can do just as well against an offensive powerhouse like the Yankees. The Bronx Bombers are coming off a sweep at the hands of the aforementioned Sox, who take on the Phillies this weekend.
Where once New York City was united, it is now divided. Let’s make a deal with the Red Sox: If they sweep the Phillies, the Mets will do their best to do the same against the Yanks. Just forget that the Mets won the series with you. That’s old news. What’s important now is helping each other out.
What are your predictions for the first Subway Series at Yankee Stadium?

I was studying something else about this on an additional weblog. Interesting. Your position on this is diametrically opposed to what We read earlier. I am still contemplating much more than the diverse points of view, however I’m inclined heavily toward your own own. And no matter, that’s what is so superb regarding contemporary democracy and the actual marketplace associated with ideas on-line.
