It looks like Jerry Manuel is sitting a lot of starters. We already knew Carlos Delagado would sit with a sore hip. Cora is filling in again for Luis Castillo while Reed is out in right field again. Santos is catching again relegating Ramon Castro to backup.
Murphy is batting third, an interesting move. Hopefully, they’ll be able to produce more against Atlanta starter Jair Jurrjens than they did against Derek Lowe. They can’t afford to go on a losing streak now because they have a tough few games ahead.
