Even though Citi Field just opened, it’s never too soon to start having some trivia contests. You can win some cool Mets schwag, courtesy of A&E Home Video, for participating. All you have to do is register, play our little game and tell your friends about this blog and the contest.
Each week, we’ll ask a question related to Citi Field. We’ll then take all the names of people who got the question correct and put them in a random drawing. Each winner will receive either the “The New York Mets: Essential Games of Shea Stadium DVD Set” or “The NY Mets 1986 World Series Collector’s Edition DVD Set.” Only one prize per winner will be given out.
Check back every Monday at http://mets.lohudblogs.com to see that week’s question.
This week’s question is: In the Jackie Robinson Rotunda at Citi Field, what does it say on the floor under the heading Courage? The answer can be found on a previous post or by going to Citi Field.

Mets are not cursed, they just need to come through in the clutch. Right now, its way too early to get crazy about what’s going to happen. I would like to see Reyes snd Beltran ( assuming Beltran is 100% ) run more and push the envelope. Aggresive beats passive hands down !
I am a MET fan;
It seems that the Mets are ont even second class citizens when it come to reporting in the sports section. The Mets usually get a smaller write-up than other baseball and placement in the area that is left over after all the other baseball is placed. today we got a paragraph on the bottom of the first page. yesterday the only important Met article was about the death of the wife of a former Met. (It should have been reported) It was not the only met info!
It is true that the Mets are treated like second class citizens when it comes to the Journal News. Invariably, the Yankees get front page coverage while the Mets are buried on page 5 or 6.
