The Mets cemented their roster on Tuesday by letting go Bobby Kielty, Fernando Nieve and Elmer Dessens. That leaves Marlon Anderson, who has a $1.5 million contract, Bobby Parnell, submariner Darren O’Day and Brian Stokes.
Nick Evans made the roster until Livan Hernandez pitches, probably on April 11. At that time, Evans will probably be sent down to the minors to make room for Hernandez.
