Once again the amateur intern shows his lack of jounalistic ability. Key thing Murphy didn't make an error. WOW! Did he have chances? Did he make a good play? Did he make a good pivot on a DP. Did he make a tag on a SB? Do your work. Go to Binghamton for a while and come back when you are a big leaguer.

I've heard that the Athletics are interested in Heilman, and we could use Houston Street, does anyone know how much it would take other than Heilman to get Street. Also, how much would be needed to get Soria from the royals. Having those two pitch 8th and 9th would provide a massive boost to the bullpen. Finally, as crazy as it sounds, I would want to trade for Peavy. Obviously it would take a lot, but how much? I know it would cost a ton of prospects, but if you did these trades, you would not even be paying that much money for such elite players. Therefore you could sign Lowe and Orlanda Hudson. Imagine this rotation:
1.Johan
2.Peavy
3.Pelfrey
4.Lowe
5.Maine
It would be the best in baseball by far. The bullpen would be dramatically better, same with the rotation. The hitting would get slightly better. It will cost a lot of prospects, but I think it is worth it if you can get a great YOUNG team that can stick around for years and probably costs less than last year's team.
