New poll: How many years does Manuel deserve?

I posted a new poll on the right-hand side of the page: Should Omar Minaya, Jeff
Wilpon and the Mets stand pat at what is reported to be a two-year contract offer to Jerry Manuel, or does Manuel deserve a three-year deal?
I think it’s interesting. From a negotiating standpoint, I don’t know how the Mets can drive a hard bargain. They said Jerry was the guy. Now they’re offering him two years. Weird negotiating ploy to say the least.
For those who didn’t see it, Andrew Marchand of ESPN Radio exchanged e-mails with Bobby Valentine. Naturally, Valentine was interested in the job. Read on here. Bobby V described himself as “an American” who “loves great challenges.”

Jerry agrees to 2 year deal, 3rd year option
What do you mean how many years ? That sounds like its a jail sentence. But maybe managing this team is like that
