Santana’s pitch count: 225?

Jerry Manuel, who joked five days ago that Johan Santana had a pitch count of 175. Well, Santana told Manuel after last night’s loss that he could throw 225 pitches tonight if it was cool out. “That’s why I’m wearing a sweater so he knows its cool out,” Manuel said this afternoon.
