Single-admission doubleheader tomorrow

The Mets’ game against the Braves tonight at Shea has been postponed because of rain. It will be made up as the second game of a single-admission doubleheader tomorrow, following the regularly scheduled game at 3:55.
The announcement came after a wait of an hour and a half.
Tickets marked Game 73 will be the only ones honored tomorrow. Those are the ones for the regularly scheduled game. But fans can stay for the second game. Tickets from the rained-out game can be used for another game this month, subject to availability.
If you’ve got tickets for today, you’re getting a bargain you don’t see much of anymore: two for the price of one.

The Mets handled the situation poorly last night. There was no chance that they were going to get the game in yet waited until 8:45 to call it. I wasn’t going to go, (but I had the best seats that I ‘ve ever had) when they hadn’t called it by 6, I thought that they might try to get it in. I ended up stuck in traffic for 2 1/2 hours and they called the game when I was about 10 minutes away. I turned around and went home. Net result was 4 hours driving about 15 bucks in gas 20 in tolls and a rain check. The high prices of the tickets make it hard to just eat them and just stay home. The organization should have more consideration for their paying customers.
