We’re back in a real stadium for this afternoon’s game against the Brewers. The Mets will look to catch a hot Milwaukee team that is smarting after watching CC Sabathia, in their words, get robbed of a no-no.
Today will be the Mets’ first September game, and they enter the final month with a chance to make amends on the heels of yesterday’s 6-2 win over the Marlins.
Jon Niese will start a big ballgame tomorrow but the Mets believe he is ready. There is also an update in here on Billy Wagner, and a list of Sept. 1 callups.
I’ll post the lineup in a bit…
