JD: Are the Mets now being too cautious with Church? Wasn’t he given the go ahead by the medical staff to play games again? Or did he have another setback that they haven’t disclosed as usual?
Steve: I can’t say the Mets are being too cautious with Church. After ripping them earlier for being careless, I can’t get on them for what’s happening now other than to raise the question if some damage was done before that’s causing this delay.-JD
JD: No, I gotya. Better safe than sorry at this point with Church.
We can only hope that some of the Mets who lack effort will learn about real problems when they tour Walter Reed today.
