Good afternoon. Sorry for the late post. I’ve said this before, but I do like what’s going on with Murphy. He still could end up a flash in the pan, but it’s not like he’s hit a lot of homers off mistake pitches.

The good feeling comes in that he’s been fundamentally sound. He works the count. He takes pitches. He’s not afraid to take the walk. Pitchers will figure him out and he’ll have to adjust, but his willingness to be patient indicates he’ll be able to make that adjustment.
They will attempt to sweep away the Marlins today. Great effort by Brian Stokes last night.
A quick word on banning. I really hate talking about stuff like this, but something came up last night with some emails.
I welcome opinions different from mine. It would be boring if everybody agreed. If you think I don’t welcome different opinions then you haven’t been paying attention. I just don’t understand why it is so hard for some people to debate without the name calling.
I’ve deleted some of Sloppy’s comments lately when they become abusive and combative. That’s my right. He made a good point last night about Aaron Heilman, which I responded to. (This time he was Harry Chiti). You bring something to the table, and I’ll respond. But, I won’t delete comments just because of who they belong to.
I prefer you guys use the same name. It’s continuity. If you don’t want to honor my request there’s nothing I can do about it.
Lineups, by the way, courtesy of Harry today:
