Thanks for the lineup JD. I’m wondering why Beltran isn’t there either and I understand Castro caught yesterday afternoon, but c’mon already. He’s a major league baseball player and despite the history of injuries he should be able to catch two nights in a row. We always hear how Jerry rewards his players who are hot and it seems to be true EXCEPT Castro. EVERY day he hits a home run, he’s benched the next night. I understand Schneider has been hitting better as of late, but if Castro was asked to catch tonight I don’t think he’d say no.
I don’t disagree with wanting Castro to catch 2 days in a row but FL is throwing a lefty tomorrow and I don’t think Jerry wants Castro catching 3 days in a row. Schneider tonight woth Castro Tuesday and Weds folowed by a day off
I think Nick hit the nail on the head there. The lefty going tomorrow is deifnitely the reason you’ll see Castro on the bench today.
Looks good to me. Let’s win game 1 behind Johnny. If I remember correctly, John is a Marlins killer.
