I asked Jerry Manuel about batting Carlos Beltran second and he said no for now for a couple of reasons:
-Moving Beltran up leaves the bottom half of the order weaker.
-They’ve been winning with the way things are now and he doesn’t want to disrupt things.
Manuel said his thinking could change when Ryan Church returns.

Makes sense…If he is struggling when Church comes back, then I can see Carlos batting No.2
