Pedro Martinez hasn’t thrown his BP session yet, but even if he does well he might not start Tuesday vs. Phils.
He hasn’t been on the mound since the Saturday before the break and Jerry Manuel is thinking he might need to throw twice.

Shouldn't these guys be throwing during the break? I heard Dan Warthen on FAN a few weeks ago saying something to the effect that Pedro has a lot of other things going on and needs to decide if he's going to be all in.
Excuse me, how much money is this guy making?
Metphan: Pedro is making $11.8 million, plus change, this year. Martinez has been spending a lot of time in the Dominican with his father who is seriously ill.-JD
