More Pedro ….

July
19

Pedro Martinez isn’t even here yet. He left NY for Cincy a little less than an hour ago. He’s not supposed to throw until after the game starts.

I understand the sick father thing and all, but at some point Pedro needs to make pitching priority, especially if he wants to play somewhere next year….

Metphan: No doubt about it. The thing to remember is the Mets have let him run the show and do his own thing. There's little structure to them. If they weren't so loose with him in spring training, how do we know he wouldn't have gotten hurt in his first start? We don't.-JD

Mets dont have a fifth starter without pedro looking solid…Armas on the DL, Vargas makes Trax. look fast and if it effects my ADHD whats it doing to Jose's plus he got rocked last night in triple A….. Are we going to start talking about Heilman again or promoting Niese from AA

Heilman is not happening. There is a very slight chance it could happen next year, but there is 0% that he will start a game this year. I wish people would put it to rest already. He gets exposed enough in one inning throwing as hard as he can.

Couldn't agree more John. Hopefully the Mets start taking the bull by the horns. That's why I was semi-encouraged to hear Warthen kind of call out Pedro publicly for his lack of focus…. then I hear this.
