Church not playing

July
6

Ryan Church is not playing today. He’s still feeling it from the migraines. He’s not supposed to be out in the sunlight because the sensitivity to his eyes can trigger another one.

He has shut it down for the day.

John Maine reports there is still some soreness in his left arm, but feels good enough to resume his normal routine, which includes playing catch today.

That's why they invented sun glasses!!!! Obviously yesterday's dizziness and migraine was a relapse of church's two concussions. One concussion can take months to recover from never mind two.

sunglasses don't help. i get migraines sometimes and just resting for a day is the only thing that helps.

What can be done about Church at this point? Is it just a case where there will be days where he has to shut it down? Will he need to be shelved again?

TJ: Don't know what can be done now. Wouldn't surprise me if he was shelved again.-JD

It wouldn't surprise me but for how long is the question. He could be feeling the effects of these concussions for months.
