About Last Night … What’s going on with Church?

Here’s a surprise. Ryan Church left Saturday’s game with a migraine headache. He said he has had migraine headaches since high school. To me, this begs the obvious question: If this is so, then why were the Mets so cavalier after his second concussion?
This guy could be in serious trouble, and I go back to my earlier posts that the Mets have mishandled this from the beginning. We don’t know really if the migraine is, or isn’t, related to the concussion. We don’t if Church will be more susceptible to the migraines because of the concussion.
This is a mess that’s not getting any cleaner.

sounds like a PR cleanup to me!!!
If it had to do with a migraine headache and not the concussion why isn’t Church in today’s lineup? Something smells fishy in Philly and it ain’t coming from the fish market.
What got me was that after sustaining the concussion in ATL and then flying out west, they said that Church would speak with Mets doctors over the phone so they could assess his situation. Evaluating a head injury via phone???
I hope they treat him right this time around.
