John Maine said his arm is fine and he anticipates making his next start, Sunday at Philadelphia.
“Thumbs up,’’ Maine said.
After Monday’s game he said his arm felt dead. “It didn’t hurt,’’ he said. “It felt heavy. … Everybody goes through it.’’
Maine attributed part of the problem to rushing through his between starts throwing routine because of Friday’s two-stadium, day-night double header with the Yankees.
