Wright out tomorrow (UPDATED)

Jerry Manuel just said David Wright will sit tomorrow. Manuel thought Wright looked fatigued tonight, and told the 3B after the game he needed to take a day off.
“I just think that’s the necessary move to freshen him up,†Manuel said.
Wright handled it well although he doesn’t think he needs it. He has started all 75 games, DHing one and played 3B in the other 74.
“I feel good, just the normal fatigue you feel on June 23rd,†Wright said. “Jerry’s got a great baseball mind. If he thinks I need a day off, I’ll rest up a little bit and hopefully come back fresh for Wednesday.â€
In other news that may or may not have an impact on your fantasy team, Carlos Beltran said he called Felix Hernandez and said that Hernandez was OK. It is just a sprain. “He’ll be fine,” Beltran said.
Hernandez had X-rays that came up negative. He expects to make his next start.

Is sitting on the bench really saving that much energy and he will be really rested for the rest of the week??
Oh please. They play baseball. You stand around for 3 hours and have 4 at bats.
If they really wanted to rest him, they would send him off to the spa for a mud bath and a manicure.
Day off. Load of crap.
