weird lineup…
there is no way i will be able to remember who is batting after who tonight…wright beltran delgado and that is about it
My only problem with the line-up is that Reyes is playing. Manuel has to show the team that he is in control, and that his behavior will not be tolerated. Will anyone on the team respect his authority now?
I don’t think he needed to sit Reyes tonight. Reyes apologized to Manuel and his teammates after Manuel went down and talked to him. To me that says he got his point across just fine.
Are the Anaheim Angels of Los Angeles the most fun team to watch in terms of playing the game right? There were a lot like the Wilpon Mets until they hired Bill Stoneman-Mike Scoscia.
I’m guessing this Troy Nixon kid is going to be a star. He goes all out all the time. He’s not a quitter.
isn’t it Trot Nixon
Trot is an aging veteran; Troy is his younger brother.
It’s part of the magic Jerry Manuel is bringing to this team.
Tiffany- The Mets do not have a Troy Nixon on the roster, but they have a Trot Nixon on the roster and he used to be a kid once but not at the age of 30+.
Troy will not offically be placed on the roster until very late at night, when nobody in NY is watching.
TheGuvlovestheMets – Good one. LOL
