Hello from lobby of the Mets’ hotel. We’re waiting for Willie Randolph to emerge from his room.
Surreal, actually.
The Mets had so many chances to do this earlier, but didn’t. All thumbs, these guys.

I guess if Omar really made the decision you could say from a “positive” perspective that he agonized over it.
But you could also say that he was sloppy and indecisive. Did I say sloppy?
Anyway, it should not be a surprise I guess given the sloppy and indecisive ways of the Mets these days whether it be putting guys on the DL in a timely manner or calling up guys to replace injuries.
Too bad the have not be this indecisive on some bad trades in the past. Maybe Kazmir et al may have been on the team still.

Darn! I was really hoping that that Manuel guy was going to get canned last night. So much for more class acts from the Mets.
