It would be great for Jacket, Nieto, Willie, everyone on the hot seat to lead the press on a wild goose chase. Jacket can head to DisneyLand, Nieto to Knott’s Berry Farm, and Willie to wherever. They’ll have the NY sports media spread out all over Orange County.
One of them needs to go the airport.
Nieto along with Alomar was Randolph’s hire. The feeling is if you fire Randolph, anyone he brought in must go. Like in primitive cultures when the king die, his women and servants must accompany him to the underworld.
