Pre-game notes

-Ramon Castro will catch tonight but Willie Randolph said it has nothing to do with wanting to match him with Coin Flip Perez. Brian Schneider is still first string.
-Pedro Martinez on being nervous: “Do you see any grey hairs” Actually, no.
-Randolph said it’s possible neither Mike Pelfrey nor Claudio Vargas could be sent out to make room for Martinez. He said one could work out of the pen. That would leave Carlos Muniz as odd-man out.
-Moises Alou is on the trip and hopes to be activated by Friday. Alou said he felt tight after running Sunday, but is fine today.

Maybe Muniz will also stay and the Mets will finally do something with Heilman
I guess the good Pelf saved him fr a week
I just flipped my coin in honor of Oliver Perez, same rule as last time, heads is a good game and tails is a bad game.
And the result is…
HEADS!
Oliver Perez will have a good game!
I'm thinking more and more they'll option Muniz and keep both Vargas and Pelfrey, and worked the former in the pen.-JD
