what a craptastic lineup. JD – any chance willie gets fired after this series? I certainly hope so. nice to see evans is getting a shot, willie will probably bury him as soon as he gets hot and say he’s just a baby
Didn’t take long for Willie to put Nick Evans to work, did it. Good Luck, Nick.
WTF….if Church is unable to go, put the guy on the friggin disable list….
I agree with Chili…The Mets have a really annoying way of carrying players unable to play, and thus playing a man short. Of course, they don’t have anyone worthwhile to call up
well church HAS pinch hit in 2 straight games. They are also facing a lefty, id guess church will be in there tomorrow.
Vargas is a contact pitcher in a fly ball park with two corner infielders, playing corner outfield spots should be interesting to say the least. Could Omar tell Willie to visit joe on the coast after this road trip
Exactly Bob.
Church has been the definition of what this team needs more of this season.
And I think that having him on the bench for a pinch-hit AB per game, until he’s 100%, is far more valuable than having him on the DL.
you’d think/hope the manager would change up the lineup after losing 5 straight. But no, he trots out luis Castillo who’s done NOTHING the past 5 games and has played deplorable defense, his base running has been a mystery too. Why not put beltran second? or just switch it up a little bit? Jeez, willie is sucha stubborn fool.
Who should replace Willie?

Also, funny video follows the Nick Evans story.
Bob- Who would you bat 2nd? Church isn’t available, and right now, Castillo is our best option for that slot…
2 on, nobody out for Wright… Perfect day for him to get hot since he completely owns Francis…
NICK EVANS!!
People like Bob with no solutions love to bitch and glorify in the sufferings of others. Bob has nothing to add, no ideas to bring to the table but he loves to complain and he’s excellent at complaining with no alternative thoughts. I hope you get fired Tuesday Bob. I hope you are given 5 minutes notice. I hope you never find another job. Lets glorify in bob’s suffering since he glorifies in the suffering of others.
omar padilla – you sound like some1 in willies family
Fire Bob Fire bob fire Bob…. Like that kind of talk about you Bob? Doesn’t it souynd nice, thr thought of being fired? Has a nice reing to it, makes one feel satisifed doesn’t it? Fire bob now… The world will be so much better off if Bob gets fired..
omar padilla – well if I was an incompetent fool, had no cajones, did not know how to manage a bullpen, stubborn, managed a team to the worst collapse in the history of baseball Id understand where every1 is coming from. I wouldn’t be a stubborn goof who compares himself to a manager whos won 4 RINGS
Bob, please, nobody, even you shouldn’t be talking about yourself so poorly/.
omar padilla – are you seriously willies cousin or something?
