Can you believe it Delcos, all the little Metsies are trying to make fun of me…. Don't you think that's pathetic since their team is supposed to be so good and perfect and my team is suppoised to be so bad, but they just can't stand it when anyone other than the Yankees, who they KNOW to be superior to themselves treats them forthe laughingstock that they are because they can never be # 1` in NY. Their own owner hates them and is trying to turn them into his beloved Dodgers. That's why he's making them move to Ebbets Field next year. Becuase even Wilpon hats the metsies…

You little metsies are just like the big metsies. Rollins is in their head and I'm in your head…. Pathetic except for dave and Mr orginal and clm and TIFFANY and of course Delcos who has to put up with all the arrogant and "superior" elitists that call themselves little metsie fans…...

Keep it comin chicken little metsies…. Can't fight under your own identity because they're gonna change your name to the NYchickens because obviously you little metsies can't stand up under your own ID (which you probably forgot is fake anyway)... Maybe I'll start bringing my friends to play with you soon.

Ok Mr Original A challenge.
Manny Acta weaknesses….
1. He is not any better than any other manager like the one you all love to hate in game situations. I think he gets out maneuvered by most others in close late game situations.
2. I think he pulls starters rather quickly but he may feel he has to because we are a little anemic on the offensive end of things.

Manny Acta good points.

1. Most importantly he doesn't take crap or lazy play. The GM loves Milledge, he benched him for being late.
2. He benched Belliard after they gave him a multi year deal for not performing.
3. His guys in the pen know their jobs. When the closer went down with whatever the 8th inning guy Rauch moved to the 9th and everyone moved up a notch.
4. I never heard him bitch about a guy after 5.2 scoreles innings.
5. I think these guys respect him and play over their heads for him. Nine game losing streak right off the bat and there were no signs of panic. They've played winning ball since then.
Would he work for a veteran team?
1. Yes, but only if a GM would back him up if he went with a kid over a veteran. Oh wait, no problem, minaya purged your system of youth pretty much.

All right Mr original its more fun to pick on the bad little metsies but you are now an officially good one with clm dave Tiffany and of course our host Mr Delcos who apparently is going to have a very sick stomach some day from eating too much pizza…..

PS: The imitator, whom I presume is either metsfan or JK the suit guy did a very poor job…..

RMK: Matt Wise had a very strong spring training and was a good middle reliever in Milwaukee. Could he do any worse than Heilman?
And you're right, Smith should stay, despite his maddening tendency to implode after getting the first two men out as he did yesterday.
I'd send Heilman down to work out his problems, sign Trunbow and send him to New Orleans and I'd DFA Sosa and deal him to Detroit for Brandon Inge.

Gary and Ron are talking about what they're goign to do when Wise comes back. Two issues I have with this:

1) Since when did Steve Wise become some sort of good pitcher? He wasn't all that great in the one or two appearances he made before he got hurt, and he's not ever been that great in his career anyways. Why can't he just go to NO?

2)If they really have to activate him onto the bigleague roster, then it's a nobrainer to me…dump Sosa. You can't punish Smith, just because he has options. He's actually been one of the few reliable ones (his last outing aside). Sosa, on the other hand, is the king of the grandslam.
