Which makes me wonder why Willie didn't make an effort to play Schneider yesterday. Then he could have used Casanova today. Pelfrey has pitched badly of late. But I wouldn't give up on him yet. Lets see if Schneider makes a difference going forward. Eventually if Pelfrey is to be a successful major league pitcher, he'll have to succeed without the hand holding. But right now I think he needs it. He's high maintenance. Like Ollie. Pelfrey has performed much better with Schneider behind the plate.
