On Tap Today: Sleeping fast.

April
30

The players say when they have a day game after a night game that runs long that they “have to sleep fast.’’ They need to be awake today, and more importantly, he needs to be the “Good Oliver Perez’’ this afternoon. perez-oliver.jpg

They’ll be sluggish enough as it is. They don’t need Perez to be running deep into the count otherwise they’ll be sleepwalking in the field.

Line-ups soon.

Every time Oliver Perez takes the mound, it’s a guessing game.
With him life is like a box of chocolate you never know what you are going to get.
JD ever thought abt taking a poll before each game he pitches to see what the fans think. you could name it “Good Ollie, Bad Ollie”

One question for all the metsies…. I went to the LoHud Yankee site, don’t cry Delcos I was just checking and its not as good as your Metsie site, and they are doing even worse than themetsies yet they aren’t nearly as grumpy as all the littler metsies are (exceot Metsfan and clm of course). Why is that metsies???? Is it because you are # 2 in NYC forever or is it something else?

Love and kisses as always and enjoy your wonderful off day ‘cause you need it!
