Brady Clark was DFA. Gustavo Molina activated. Brian Schneider will be hospitalized overnight with antibiotic IV as they try to treat infected left thumb without surgery.
There’s no telling how much time Schneider will miss.

Has Ramon Castro even started taking swings yet?
I can see a two catcher bench for the rest of the year, especially when Castro gets back.
Hopefully Schneider won't have to be DLed. He's been rock solid behind the plate.
Castro is playing in extended spring training games. There's no timetable for him.-JD
Oh no a disaster for the metsies…. they cut Brady clarke…. the whole brady bunch is mad at omar…. but some day not too far away, the remnants of mets nation (if that's what it is) will be mad at him too.
I think saying surgery is very alarmist. Unless this infection is in the bone, some IV will do the trick.
"alarmist".... Are you Dr Scoopcoop?
Whoa, time to watch the 2 worst teams in the NL East. How exciting….
No but I play one on TV. But yes I do know about the subject more than most.
