If being "Mean Jean The Dancing Machine-Gong Show referenece" makes Reyes get hits, then he can dance on the opponents dugout roof for all I care.

Delgado is done, they have no other option at 1B, we will all have to live with it. As for Maine, JD is spot on. We know he can pitch better than that, but he still managed to turn in a quality effort and let the offense back him up. He buckled down when he wasn't completely right, which is exactly what Oliver Perez didn't do on Sunday against the Brewers. So you can see how a night like last night could go either way for a pitcher, and Maine made sure it went the right way.

Pitchers are throwing away to Delgado and he is trying to hit every pitch out.

Delgado has deffinitly been less patient than he was in the first week or so.
Against Mota on Sunday after Mota's wildness he swings after the 3rd pitch that was in a bad location after a 2-1 count.

With John Maine, well not every pitcher can be perfect everytime so its good to see that. I mean if he can pitch like that while being off, I want to see him when all his stuff is clicking. And its going to come sooner rather than later.
