JD, I understand the whole team will wear 42 in honor of Jackie Robinson.

Any chance Willie gives a little speech about honoring JR by going out and playing a crisp game?

Scoop – Definitely sounds like a good idea to me.

My only hope is that, with the miracle of modern science, someday we will see an entire team of Butch Huskey clones playing for the Mets. I know it’s unlikely, but it doesn’t hurt to dream…

Just read that Reyes is in the lineup leading off, Church is batting 2nd, and Castillo has been dropped to 8th.

And Peter Moylan, who is btw a nasty side-arming reliever for the Braves and was filling in for Rafael Soriano as the closer, just joined Soriano on the DL.

Things aren’t really pretty over here right now, but could things be any worse then whats happening in Atlanta?

    Hampton-DL
    Glavine-Possible DL
    Soriano-DL
    Moylan-DL

Jeez…Thats tough, although I think a lot of the “experts” were way over zealous in thinking Hampton can ever contribute to a ML team again

How do you know your team sucks Reason # 3:

    3. Your team’s fan base revels in injuries to other teams knowing its the on;y way their own team can have a chance.

  8. Doug

Who is reveling in other teams injuries?

You’re the worst troll ever, but then again, you’re a Nats fan….Not a lot to really troll about.

  9. hello from DC

little metsie dougy… YOU are the one I was referring to, do you booooooo your metsies also?

  10. Doug

I dont. At least not in April.

We’ll see what happens come September.

And I certainly wasn’t reveling in the Braves injuries, I’d never root for an injury.
