JD-Wise is supposed to come off Thursday, but apparently he has even begun throwing again
But when its time for him to come off DL who do you think gets the demotion? Joe Smith seems like the obvious choice, but hes been rock solid (1.69 ERA)
So who gets sent down? Sosa needs to stay, as does Figueroa…Do they try and cut Schoeneweis?
I don’t think they’ll carry 13 pitchers, but maybe they cut Brady Clark or (I hate to commit blasphemy here), but does Endy Chavez really have a role on this team anymore? Especially with Alou coming back?
Going to be a tough call, but it seems like Wise isn’t coming back anytime soon.
To Doug: Eligible doesn’t mean it will happen.-JD
So when Wise is physically ready to return, there is a chance he might start in AAA?
Joe Smith has been effective and Wise had barely pitched before the DL stint…Let Wise recover and get some rehab work in before activating him, since Smith will be be the guy sent packing when Wise gets back…
