When my son was bat boy down at ST last year Sandy Alomar asked him who his favorite Met was (DW) and made sure that Ben got to talk with him. Ben has a beloved beagle that he sleeps with every night (they break the rules regarding staying up late to watch Mets games on the laptop under the covers together) so he asked David about Homer -- they spent the next 10 minutes just talking about pets!
