The only tradition we have is that it is virtually the only non-illness excuse my son gets for skipping school. My guys are there now with our university seats (Field right behind the visitor’s dugout)—already having fun.
According to my husband the parking (such that there is) is completely full already though the stadium is still relatively empty. They lucked into a parking space nearby.
I hope they win today because I am in for a real cranky evening if they do not…

That’s a great tradition. My father took me and my brother to Opening Day in Cleveland years ago. School didn’t appreciate it, but my father said this was more important. He was right.-JD
