SS Jose Reyes
2B Luis Castillo
3B David Wright
CF Carlos Beltran
1B Carlos Delgado
LF Angel Pagan
RF Ryan Church
C Brian Schneider
LH Johan Santana
So, I wonder if Schneider is going to be Cal Ripkim II and play all 162?
maybe they all are, since this if 5 games with the same exact starting lineup (only difference is church and Pagan flipping spots).
At least the supposed “black hole” botom of the line up has been very productive so far.
Now just have to fix what I expected all along to be the real black hole, the # 2 spot.
Castillo just really annoys me. He is certainly past is prime, and has to be the waekest hitter on the Mets since Ray Ray. He will be lucky to hit 5 balls as far as the warning track this year, and that includes one that roll there!
castillo doesn’t have power, everyone knows that, no one expects him to have any. And yeah, he had a bad game yesterday (wait, i thought only horrible players have 0-4’s, ooops, golden boy Wright did too). Either way, he’s patience, gets on base, and is a career .300 hitter. I think Luis will be fine.
metsfan: I love the way you defend every has been on the team as having done something good in the past. If that’s the case I want Honus Wagner to play 2nd. He certainly did something better than this little leaguer did….
Where’d you go yesterday metsfannot…. Your crummy team falls behind by a couple runs and you quit on them. Worst fans of any team are the lousy fair weather fans like you are. You come here and blast everyone else and the host and then you run away when things go south.
