I wonder if I could choose to be at any one team/city for any year in baseball history if the 1948 Cleveland Indians would be the choice. Great year, shenanigans with Bill Veeck and Lou Boudreau, Satchel Paige makes the big leagues after 20 years, Bob Feller. 2.6 million doesn't sound that much but it was the highest attendance for a team until the mid 70s.
