I know it is only a exhibition game but Schoeneweis is a dog, there is no two ways about it. What a waste of money, this guy truly stinks and nice play by church letting the ball pop off his glove and in to the stands for a homerun even though the umps ruled it in play because they are blind. I new it was a homerun when it happened in real play. If I was Omar I would find a way to dump schoeneweis and his salary and get somebody else to take that spot.
In fairness to schoeneweis church should have caught that ball, I hope he doesn’t do that in the regular season because met fans will crucify him.
We all make mistakes. Church is no exception to that.

church makes lots of mistakes….. you saw the tip of the ole iceberg yesterday. whiff, lazy in the field, whiff, getting rid of him makes us a lot better and you a lot worse…. you’re gonna be crying for green in a few weeks…...
