The other problem is pelfrey does not have a second or third pitch. This is why IMO he gets hit and gives up runs. Until he can control his fastball and develop a second and maybe a third pitch he will never be effective. He's very bad. It sucks he's gone but what are you gonna do? He's a bench player! Some people as USUAL are over-reacting. Whether or not he does good or bad, right now, he had no place on the team. The Mets already have Marlon Anderson who does the same exact thing!
