Willie in the Afternoon: Post-game musings.

March

Highlights from Willie Randolph’s post-game press conference:

On Oliver Perez: “He didn’t have his best stuff. Sometimes these games are good because they force you to improvise, but he didn’t made the adjustments.”

On Brian Schneider: Said Schneider didn’t have any problems. He’s expected to play tomorrow.

NOTES: Orlando Hernandez and Mike Pelfrey are still on to split tomorrow. If either leaves early, there’s not a plan yet to give Duaner Sanchez an inning. … Randolph said he’s not concerned with Ryan Church, who went 1-for-3 and is hitting .167.

"Randolph said he’s not concerned with Ryan Church, "

Instead of telling us daily that Randolph isn't worried, give us a note when he's worried about something.

Is Vero Beach trying to get a replacement team to fill the place? Met bus rides are going to get a lot longer next year….
